Creating a Range

Trend prediction begins 15 months in advance of the season with the creation of trend boards which are regularly updated. Each brand has a design team working in partnership with the buyers whilst the Design Studio concentrates on trend prediction. Separate boards are prepared for women, men, teens and kids.

The buyers and designers visit exhibitions in Milan, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Florence, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Seoul and India. Inspirational shopping trips keep buying teams at the cutting edge of world-wide product, packaging, fixture and supply base development. Suppliers, most of whom are based in the Far East, are visited by buying teams at least three times a year with designers sending designs and development packs on a weekly basis.

Our Quality Assurance processes are designed to exceed legal requirements and our Senior Technologist works closely with the buying teams and our suppliers worldwide to make all our products safe for the customer. Additionally, we ensure that the materials and processes used in manufacture are both ethical and environmentally friendly.

The most important aspect of our relationship with our clients is that we offer dedicated design, buying and merchandising teams for each brand, thereby ensuring total brand integrity.
