Corporate Social Responsibility

In September 2007 Icon Live was elected to membership of the Ethical Trade Initiative. Through our membership of the ETI we confirm our commitment to source responsibly and to support our manufacturing supply base with honesty, integrity, trust and mutual respect.

We fully support the Ethical Trade Initiative Base Code promoting the ETI’s objectives through the strong relationships we have with our suppliers worldwide:

ETI CODE

• Employment is freely chosen
• Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
• Working conditions are safe and hygienic
• Child labour shall not be used
• Living wages are paid
• Working hours are not excessive
• No discrimination is practiced
• Regular employment is provided
• No harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed

New Licensing deal

In September 2007, Icon Live was delighted to be awarded the worldwide licence for French Connection jewellery. We aim to establish a presence across the globe in the coming months in locations as diverse as the USA, Japan, Canada and Central Europe as well as working with French Connection in the UK.

Birthday Celebrations

Icon Live celebrated its fifth birthday on the 21st January 2007. Employing over 1,600 staff and trading in 3,500 departments across the UK and Europe, Icon is going from strength to strength.

New Distribution Centre

November 10th 2006 saw the Grand Opening of Icon Live's new 38,000sq.ft distribution centre in Burgess Hill. Local MP, Nicholas Soames performed the official opening. The new fully automated system provides faster stock replenishment and will support Icon's growth over the next five years.
